Tips for emoji Perler bead projects
Every emoji perler bead pattern here shares the same 17x17 round face, which makes them easy to mix and match: the Smiley Face, the Heart Eyes Emoji and the Laughing Tears Emoji. At about 8.5cm across they are the right size for coasters, chunky magnets or locker decorations.
Since all three are the same size, they make a nice matching set. Bead one of each for a coaster trio, or give a whole group of friends their "signature" emoji as keychains. They also work as party favors for a birthday or end-of-school celebration because they are fast and need only five to seven colors each.
Yellow faces need a solid outline to read well from across a room, so keep the dark border beads even and don't skip any. If you want a custom expression, like a winking face or sunglasses, load the Smiley in the pattern maker and edit the eyes and mouth bead by bead. Changing the face color works too if you want a blue or green version.
