Tips for mushroom Perler bead projects

Our mushroom perler bead patterns come in three sizes: the round Kawaii Mushroom (14x14), the classic Red Spotted Mushroom (16x18) and the Mushroom Cluster (22x18), which groups several caps together. The small one finishes at about 7cm across, just right for a keychain or a phone charm.

Toadstools are a staple of cottagecore decor. A few ideas: a set of magnets for the fridge, a mushroom garland strung with twine between small bead leaves, or a cluster glued onto a picture frame corner. The Mushroom Cluster has enough presence to hang on its own as a small piece of wall art.

The white spots are single beads or small groups, so place them before filling in the red around them; it is much easier than squeezing them in at the end. A tweezer helps. If you want a brown woodland mushroom or a purple fantasy one, open any design in the pattern maker and recolor the cap while keeping the spots.

Mushrooms pair naturally with the rest of the plant patterns, and the kawaii version fits right in with our cute designs.
